Art Course: Drawing & Painting with John Workman

After the success of this evening art course, painter and illustrator John Workman, is back with two more 6-week courses giving you the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of drawing and painting, gaining confidence in a range of different styles and techniques.

What to expect

In this 6-week course, students will be encouraged to try a range of different techniques and materials, including drawing, painting in acrylics, and collage. Although the work of artists from various periods will be shown and discussed, the focus will always be on the students’ own practice. The course is not aimed at any particular level, but it will be suitable for beginners. Our aim is that students will enjoy using their creativity while acquiring skills in drawing, painting, and the use of colour.

Course 2: Wednesdays 18 May – 22 June (select 18 May for 6 week course ticket)
