What to expect

Sing hello to new friends, go on musical adventures and jam along with your very own instruments. Find out how to make your own instruments at home ahead of the sessions by visiting Babybrain Music.

These relaxed jam sessions are for adults and children to learn songs to sing, play and make music together. This online class will take families through a hello song, followed by an action-packed warm-up, a summer-themed musical adventure, followed by a jam with homemade instruments, a dance, a calming activity and a goodbye song.

About Babybrain Music

Babybrain Music was founded by local dad, Adrian Mendonca, inspired after having his daughter and sharing music with her.

Adrian specialises in teaching music across various age groups, including the early years. Putting a twist on music activities focussed on children, Babybrain Music helps adults pursue music too!

Sessions offer parents and carers the chance to enjoy strumming, comping or tapping out chords and rhythms for their children. Children enjoy singing, exploring instruments, listening and jamming to music made by the grownups they love. Adults can expect to play mainstream, popular music in no time, using the chords and playing patterns they learn during family music sessions.

Please note, these workshops will be held virtually on Zoom. You will be emailed the Zoom log in details once you have booked your slot(s) and given all the information you’ll need before the session.
