Frida Kahlo’s Upcycled Flower Crown with Maud Barrett

Celebrated artist, style-icon and all-round inspiration, celebrate the work of Frida Kahlo in this eco-friendly, flower crown-making workshop with textile artist and co-founder of Sunny Jar Eco Hub, Maud Barrett.
What to expect
With her striking looks and unique dress sense, Frida Kahlo is not only one of the most influential female artists of her generation but also a unique style icon. Taking inspiration from Frida’s vibrant creativity and beautiful resilience we invite you to create your own flower crown, using upcycled materials.
Using Frida’s work as inspiration, Maud will help you select your materials according to you colour palette and style and will show you how to create delicate textile flowers and blend them with fresh ivy or eucalyptus for a natural style crown.
