Kip Kompin Cinema: Take 5 will include award-winning films direct from the successful Sierra Leone National Film Awards.

Supporting activities on the night will include guest performances, the renowned #ASabiPasYu gameshow & interactive quiz, and the opportunity to network with a room full of people passionate about Sierra Leone.

Our featured film of the evening will be UK premiere of multi-award-winning film, Profit Point.

Profit Point is a multi-award-winning film that explores the manipulative skills of the system towards Sierra Leonean citizens living in areas labelled by the ruling class as the ‘slums’.

The film explores themes of romance, retribution and redemption as multiple parties from different walks of lives navigate, manipulate & strive for profit.

Profit Point received multiple accolades at the Sierra Leone National Film Awards 2021 taking home ‘Best Lead Actress’, ‘Outstanding Achievement in Editing’, and ‘Best Director’ among a plethora of other awards.
