Mindfulness, Art & Movement:
Taster Session

This taster session offers you the chance to sample the Mindfulness, Art & Movement course ahead of the next 5 week course beginning Sunday 20 May.
This introductory session provides a route map to deal with everyday stress, chronic pain, and the usual challenges of life.
This is a course for any adult seeking to engage with pre-existing health conditions and stressful situations, using relaxation techniques, mindfulness, art, movement and music.
If you are interested, consult your health professional initially to discuss whether the course is suitable for you.
About the facilitators
Jane Belshaw and Raphael Adjani are two experienced teachers and practitioners drawing on over 30 years of practice in the creative arts, movement and meditation.
Their approach
Their approach to healing, wellbeing and recovery draws on the Japanese tradition of Kintsugi: broken pottery is repaired with lacquer mixed with powdered gold and the renewed object is considered to have its own beauty and richness. Kintsugi treats the fact that we ‘break’ as part of the weave of life rather than something to disguise.
