Poplar Singers Christmas Concert

Join the Poplar Singers Community Choir for a very merry evening of songs, Christmas carols and delicious festive treats. A warm welcome awaits!

The bar will be open, there’ll be mince pies, chocolate yule logs and cheese straws aplenty, and the “ho ho hos” will be heard across Poplar as we all have a jolly time. Tickets will be available to buy on the door, and there will be a raffle with prizes worthy of Santa’s workshop – please bring cash!

This is our annual fundraiser to help keep the community choir going, so that more people can enjoy singing together. Come on your own, or with friends, neighbours and colleagues, and enjoy an evening with others in the community.

The Poplar Singers are an inclusive, friendly and fun community choir, welcoming members of all abilities and backgrounds. We sing together weekly at the Brownfield Cabin in Poplar, and enjoy a cuppa and a chat before rehearsals. We sing a mix of pop, folk, musicals, traditional pieces and more. Our focus is on enjoyment and connecting with others in our community, and we perform at local events throughout the year. We love to welcome new people, whether you’re a shower singer, confident choristor or have never sung before – please ask us about our free taster sessions!
