To ensure we do not exceed Covid-secure capacity and to avoid disappointment, we ask all attendees to book their ticket in advance so we can monitor numbers. If the event reaches capacity and you do not have a ticket booked upon arriving, you will not be able to attend, so prior booking is essential! We will open a waiting list if the event sells out.

Clothes and Book Swap Shop Guidelines
Exchange up to 5 preloved garments you no longer wear for some new-to-you gems. What NOT to bring: shoes, jewellery, bathrobes, pyjamas or night wear, tights/plain leggings, underwear, lingerie, slippers, socks, stockings. No badly stained, shrunk, bobbly or ruined items. Check seams, hems, buttons, zips; scan for rips, tears, loose sequins or beading, etc. Wash all items for hygienic reasons and as a courtesy to your fellow swapper. Items that fail to meet these standards will not be accepted.

About Sunny Jar Eco Hub

Sunny Jar is a social enterprise founded by two local residents, Maud & Linda, working on creating opportunities for people to learn and share skills on how to live more sustainably.

With the growing problem of plastic in our oceans and streets, they wanted to encourage others to live more thoughtfully; making a positive contribution to our local area and the environment. Their name represents our vision. ‘Sunny’ because we want to create a bright, happy and optimistic place for people to connect. ‘Jar’ symbolizes the concepts of recycling, reusing, crafting and resilience- in contrast to the throwaway lifestyle.

Their zero waste night is run entirely on a voluntary basis. Please get in touch if you would like to volunteer with them:
