Room 13 is a charity employing artists in schools internationally for child-led art projects with an emphasis on enterprise and self-funding the studio through the sale of the students’ art and completing commissions.
Children attending Room 13 at Old Ford Primary School in Bow have created an exciting new body of artwork, consisting of illustrations depicting the fauna and flora of East London and the banks of the river Thames. Artworks for this project have been created from scrap paper and wrappers, using discarded plastic utensils as drawing tools.

Room 13 at Old Ford Primary School is currently accepting corporate commissions. If you purchase an artwork on display the money raised will go back to the children. It will be used to pay for materials and trips, enriching the young people’s art education and giving them an insight into art as enterprise and ways in which they may one day succeed in making a living as an artist.
