Black-Owned Makers Market

This October, as part of Poplar Union’s Black History Month celebrations we bring you a brand-new Sunday market: The Black-Owned Makers Market.
Here you will find a variety of black-owned and run start-ups and businesses from clothing and accessories to the finest health and beauty products.
As local entrepreneur, Chantelle Small said: “Black is success, so come and treat yourself to some weekend retail therapy and contribute to the success of these brilliant, local businesses.”
This market is open to all, but is a celebration of the best of Black-owned businesses.
No need to book, just turn up between 11am-3pm!

SKINTAGE
100% handmade, raw, natural, organic, vegan-friendly body-care products.
Skintage was inspired by my late sister who passed away from breast cancer 3yrs ago. My sister was very much into everything Natural, Organic and Vegan. I really began to explore these concepts in depth about two years ago. The name Skintage is a blend of skin and vintage, vintage being items that are loved, cared for nurtured for years and years. Our skin is something that grows with us that we care for and nurture through the ageing process, Thus the name Skintage was born.I have created Skintage products with the idea that they are gentle, delicate even on the most sensitive of skin. All Skintage products are derived from Natural, Organic and raw ingredients. All products are Vegan friendly animal free and cruelty free. I would describe my products as rustic as they are all handmade and hand poured. It is so important for my products to make people feel amazing in their skin!
