Massage & Guided Meditation Session with Thaisa & Cara: The mind-body experience

Many people book a massage as a way to relax and destress, but it can be hard to shut off from the stress of everyday life. The power of touch in massage calms the nervous system and relaxes the muscles. In addition, guided meditation will maximise our ability to relax and connect with body and mind.

The room will be set up with mats, blankets, and cushions to make sure everyone is comfortable.  The session will start with two therapists (Thaisa and Cara) introducing the group through a thoughtfully selected soundtrack, guiding clients through a tranquil body scan meditation designed to center your focus on breath and body. Following this, the therapists will approach people in the group one by one to carry out soothing massage techniques along with some assisted stretches for a relaxing bodywork experience. The session will last approx 60 minutes.


About Thaisa & Cara:

Thaisa is qualified in Holistic Massage, Deep Tissue, Pregnancy massage, Lymphatic Drainage and Sports Massage and founder of The Massage Space. As a passionate and skilled massage therapist, she is deeply committed to promoting well-being through her expertise. She also practices meditation regularly and is a part of the Bodhicharya Buddhist group where she has deepened her knowledge of meditation practices. Her true passion lies in the close connection I establish with her clients, and the goal is always to guide them to a deeper understanding of their bodies and the healing power of massage therapy and meditation.

Cara is a qualified ITEC Holistic Massage Therapist and also qualified in Pregnancy, Cupping and Deep Tissue Massage as well as a member of the CTHA. Delivering quality massage energises her and she has always been drawn to helping people. She truly believes that is absolutely essential to consider the mind, body and spirit when healing, and I endeavours to bring long-term relief and comfort to each individual that she works with. Cara is also trained in Reiki and uses this as part of her massage practices as well as implementing meditation into her daily life.
